  1. When I try to create this table, I see this: Syntax error: there is no unique constraint matching given keys for referenced table “products”.

    CREATE TABLE cart_items(
    cart_item_id SERIAL,
    product_id INT REFERENCES products(id),
    user_id INT REFERENCES users(id),
    PRIMARY KEY(product_id, user_id)
    );
